We play under the name DRAGONS.  We want to thank the founder and mentor of Pete’s Dragons, Pete Cassavaugh, for his continual and tireless support of girls and young woman’s softball in the region.  Pete has been assisted over the years by many fine coaches. 

In order to sustain a vibrant organization and to support young woman who want to learn and grow by developing their softball skills and competing in tournaments, it was necessary to form a corporation and aggressively fundraise in a manner consistent with sound business procedures and financial transparency.  Valley ASA Junior Olympic Softball will continue to draw on the knowledge and mentoring of Pete and all of the folks that laid the groundwork of this organization.  In 2010 we operated two Dragons teams (14U and 16U) that participated in 6 tournaments in the region, from Maine to Massachusetts, Rhode Island and in New Hampshire. 

In 2011 the Dragons will field 10U,12U, 14U and 16U teams. Our tournament schedule will be announced in December. (see schedule page.)
